Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get all excited!! These are pathetically boring, but the fact that I can video and blog them is sooooo exciting to me!! The wonder of the internet!!! Now, if I could only figure out how to use my little camera and stop the video without turning the whole thing off!!! Those instruction manuals make me want to vomit. Or cry. I hate them!!
Here is Sabi at the trailer. We're waiting for Donna. She had the hoof guy come out and she was really late, but I love her still. I washed Sabi and then took this video. I'm amazing. A m a z i n g .
Then we rode down the trail.....
Then we got to the river crossing which I did not do this year (Tevis) since I didn't start. And even if I did start, it's debatable if I would have gotten this far. Sabi doesn't think it's too fun. Maybe he'll never do Tevis because I'd hate to get this far and have him decide he's not going in. (And it's happened to riders!! The story of someone who was in 1st place and her horse never crossed the river...how awful is that??)
Anyway this is how far I got. When I thought we were going to swim across and I had my camera AND cell phone on me I decided we'd turn around.
It was hot yesterday, over 100 degrees and Donna and I were the loser endurance riders not bringing enough water to drink. We rode almost 20 miles and it was so much fun despite having visions of a beer/margarita stop on the trail!! And, Sabi is the true cadillac ride. What a coooool horse, even if he does have ADD. Next week we're off to a new place she hasn't been before. I'll try and hone up my camera/video skills! Or, maybe I will just leave the camera home????
